The Luminaries is a film festival that celebrates the culmination of the Film and Television Division’s academic year. Faculty and students throw this event annually in recognition of the hard work of the Five Towns College Film and Television students. Also, the Interactive Media Arts Division students are involved in this event.  Enjoy these films that showcase, celebrate and honor the creativity of our students!

In May 2011, the Five Towns College Film Festival was renamed, “The Luminaries” in honor of Professor Sol Negrin, ASC – one of the Film and Television Division’s founding members. The late, great and esteemed Cinematographer and Educator brought a true work ethic, commitment to the craft and dedication to the student body. In doing so, he helped many alumni get established in the field and climb the ladder to success in the Film and Television industry.  Sol Negrin’s legacy lives on through The Luminaries as it continues to be a defining staple of the College.

Stay posted for the date of the next Luminaries for the academic year of 2022-2023!
